Short version: AbanCart uses necessary portal/admin sign-in cookies, a consent-choice cookie, a first-party visit-measurement cookie, and a short-lived preference cookie for the website prompt. The extension uses browser storage, not cookies.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They help websites remember you between visits.

These are first-party cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. Site visit measurement is activated only after you accept the website cookie banner.
3. The Browser Extension
The AbanCart Chrome extension does not use cookies. It uses chrome.storage.local — a browser storage mechanism that is local to your device and never sent to external servers automatically. This storage holds your session token and API preferences only.
4. Third-Party Services
We do not currently embed any third-party widgets, fonts served from external CDNs, or analytics scripts that would set third-party cookies on abancart.com.
5. Your Choices
You can clear cookies in your browser at any time. Signing out clears the corresponding portal or admin sign-in cookie. Clearing ac_consent will show the consent banner again; clearing ac_visitor may reset visit measurement, and clearing ac_disc_seen may show the contact prompt again.
